Can I Try Rev For Free Before Subscribing?
Yes! You can sign up for the Free tier, which will give you access to 300 free AI transcription minutes per month.
Are There Restrictions On When You Can Cancel Your Subscription?
No, you can cancel your subscription at any time without any penalty. Simply go to the “Manage Subscription” page to cancel your subscription. If you are on a shared account, only the Admin and Billing Manager can access this page. You can click on your name in the top right corner and select “Manage Subscription” from the dropdown menu to navigate to your Plan Management page. Here you can view the current details of your plan, change to a different plan, update your payment method, and cancel your paid subscription.
How Do I Upgrade or Downgrade My Subscription?
You can upgrade or downgrade your subscription at any point in your billing cycle. Simply go to the “Manage Subscription” page and select the tier you’d like to move to.
When you choose to upgrade, you'll only need to cover the price difference between the two plans. This holds true no matter where you are in the current billing cycle. When you downgrade, you will continue to have the benefits of the higher priced plan until the downgrade takes effect at the end of the original billing cycle. Only Admins or Billing Managers can upgrade or downgrade plans.
What Are The Different Role Permissions On An Account?
Members/Viewers can access files on the account. User Managers can invite users if there are open seats on the account plus add or remove seats to the account. Billing
Managers can upgrade or downgrade the account plus update the payment method. Admins can do all of the above.
When There Is More Than One User (Seat) Within A Subscription Are The Minutes Shared Between Seats?
Yes. Entitlements within seat subscriptions are pooled at the account level. If an individual user goes over their allotted seat entitlements they simply start consuming from the accounts pooled available entitlement.
What Other Rev Products (Ie., Human Transcription, Captions, Subtitles) Are Included In The Subscription?
Free and Basic subscribers can access AI transcripts as part of their monthly AI minutes. Pro and Enterprise subscribers can access both AI transcripts and AI captions as part of their monthly AI minutes. As a paid subscriber, you also get a discount on Human Transcription – 3% for those on the monthly Basic plan, 15% for those on the annual Basic plan, 5% for those on the monthly Pro plan, 30% for those on the annual Pro plan, and custom discounts for those on the Enterprise plan.
What Is The Rev Notetaker And How Do I Use It?
Rev Notetaker is an AI meeting assistant that automatically joins meetings to create a transcript of your meeting. You can connect your Google and Microsoft calendars to the Rev Notetaker meeting bot to automatically join any Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, or Webex meeting you have within your calendar, or paste a link to add a meeting not on your calendar.
Your Meeting Hub is where you can manage your upcoming meetings and transcripts for Notetaker to attend. You can navigate to your Meeting Hub by clicking on it on the left-hand menu within your account.
From your Meeting Hub page, you can click on Get Started to connect your Google and/or Microsoft calendars. Follow the prompts to sign in and grant Rev access to your calendar.
Once you have added your calendar, you will see your upcoming meetings listed in your Meeting Hub. You can connect additional calendars by clicking on Settings in the top right corner of your Meeting Hub page. You can also disconnect already connected calendars from the Settings page.
If you have a meeting that is not on your calendar, you can paste a link to the meeting to add it to your upcoming meeting list.
Click on the toggle next to Add Rev for any upcoming meeting to add Notetaker. Meetings that are already added will have a purple toggle. You can also click on the toggle again to remove Notetaker.
What Happens If I Exceed My Monthly Limit Before My Next Billing Cycle Begins?
If you exceed your included capacity, Rev will offer an opportunity to upgrade you to the next subscription plan.
How Do I Place An Order As A Subscriber?
You’ll log in to your Rev account, go to your home, and upload a file by dragging and dropping your file or by using our Notetaker to join one of your meetings. Your completed AI files will appear a few minutes later in your "Workspaces" page. Your human-generated files will appear in your "Workspaces" page within 24 hours.
Can I Place Orders Via Rev’s Mobile App?
Yes, once you subscribe to Rev, you will be able to record and order AI or human transcripts using Rev’s app.
Can I Transcribe or Caption Content In Other Languages?
